My husband had the Seafood Purloo and it was absolutely amazing! I went thinking I wanted seafood too, but then was pulled in by the comfort, soul food. The meatloaf, mashed potatoes, collard greens, and fried okra really hit the spot. I definitely recommend this place for a great meal! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Wow, what an incredible restaurant! The hush puppies were hands down the best I’ve ever tasted! The grilled scallops were absolutely heavenly! They make their own breaded and fried okra, which was fantastic. If I lived in this area, I would definitely make this place a regular stop. Our server was incredibly friendly and attentive, offering us to-go drinks and boxes while also providing great recommendations. This experience showed me that you don’t have to break the bank for a truly amazing meal. I’m even sending in a photo of my grandmother for their wall of grandmas! I would travel back to Charleston just to dine here again.
