Brasserie La Banque - Charleston

Our favorite restaurant in Charleston so far! The best steak frites ever! The wine was a treat, and the almond crepe cake and French press coffee were a delightful end to a perfect meal. Service was attentive. We can't wait to go back!!

One of the most enjoyable, beautifully paced, palate pleasing experiences ANY WHERE, ANY TIME. The ambience was both intimate and alive with customers enjoying food and surroundings. Easy to converse, while sensing the vibe of fellow diners. Acknowledging our reservation mention this was a wedding anniversary, we were greeted with congratulations, offered our choice of two tables. Our selection was tastefully set with framed, personalized calligraphy noting our special day and a lovely gift. Coupes of champagne were graciously offered to start our celebratory meal which hit EVERY NOTE in offerings, aroma, taste, sensation. Becky was a personable, skilled, and thoughtful server. Hard to imagine a more perfect evening.

We debated a few restaurants for dinner and are so glad we chose this one. The staff was so friendly and attentive and knowledgeable. The drinks and food were delicious (the burger... oh my goodness! . And we appreciated that the noise level allowed you to hold a conversation. Highly recommend.

This place was AMAZING!! We went for an Anniversary dinner and they treated us like royalty! From the minute we came in the door they super attentive. The food was incredible, from the appetizer (oysters, shrimp and crab dip that blew me away) to the beet salad to the Steak Frites and Coq Au Vin. And the presentation on the desert was an extra special touch.

We had the best dinner I have ever had! We had chicken, steak, crispy potatoes and it was unbelievably fabulous!! The waitstaff and everything was perfection! We will go back very soon!!
