Andolini's Pizza - Charleston

Wow, I haven't had pizza and calzone this good since I was in New York City! The pizza is your classic Brooklyn style, perfectly foldable and delicious. The sauce is fantastic. The calzone is on another level—stuffed to the brim but cooked just right, warm inside without being overdone on the outside. My wife also enjoyed a solid chicken parm sandwich. If you visit this place, definitely go for the pizza and calzone. Plus, they have a beautiful bar with 20 taps. The staff is friendly and efficient. Be sure to add Mach Andolini to your list if you're in West Ashley!

We were on an ALLIED tour of Charleston and had dinner at a pizza party. As we arrived, the owners greeted us at the door. The pizzas had just come out of the ovens, and we started with a salad and some wings before the pizzas were served. Our group enjoyed the meal so much that the owner prepared even more pizzas for us! For dessert, we had cookies, and they were absolutely delicious.

I visited this restaurant for a weekend lunch and ordered one slice of Margherita pizza, one slice from the make-your-own section, and a Greek salad. The pizzas were fantastic and I highly recommend them! The service was excellent as well, and the place was clean.

Our experience here was very average to slightly below average. At first, the current prices do not match what it says in the online menu, so I added the reference menu. The prices are somewhat more expensive than they should be for the quality you receive, but I think this is compensated by the specified amount. The portion sizes are large and fillable. The Mozzarella balls were the best on the menu! The chicken parmigian Sub was ok, but sloppy and slightly disintegrated. The pepperoni and the cheese cold zone were quite good overall. One thing that was annoying in this place is waiting for food. It warns on a sign when you enter that the waiting times can vary because the food is made according to order, but my food came about 30 minutes before my friends, which is somewhat ridiculous. Do not come here expected a well maintained dune in experience there are no waiters that you are going to get your own drinks and boxes to go. The whole cleanliness of the room is also under average the floors looked dirty and contaminated many of the tables looked dirty, although it did not have a large amount of customers. It wasn't the best place I was, but not the worst, which is why I had 3 stars. Most likely will not come back, but if you go, I recommend the cheese balls safely!

Absolute catastrophe. As others have pointed out, the kitchen was slower than paint drying on the wall. We went there with three other families. A family didn't get food there and finished the order. My family ordered a cheese pizza. It was the worst pizza I ever had. It was as if they had a snake pizza (they sell them from the slice) with almost no cheese and served us. Line pizzeria is expected to be added to it per order. It can sit for a few hours. Our pizza had seen cheese from a distance. It had more sauce than cheese. The crust was dry and bland. I had a better frozen pizza the night before was less than 4,00. My wife did not eat more than a piece of her disc and my son (18). We ordered a bowl and never got it. We said the kitchen was overwhelmed, but there was no one in the restaurant. Always prepare yourself in house orders before leaving. I wouldn't recommend it.
