West End Wine - Chapel Hill

It was a nice visit, overall. all four in our party had large courts above average, the reasonable price worth and obviously prepared with care. my flat iron steak, impressed! it's a simple interior, but that worked for us. we were a bit surprised to have several nearby tables with young children, given the menu and relative costs. but their elders kept them in chess, so good clientele, exactly the same. at the end we all felt that we had great dishes and we were satisfied and would return.

We had a nice casual meal at 411. eating was good, along the lines of above average comfort food, and there is no sense to preach. the large trout plate with fingering kartoffels was excellent. the prices are very fair. the wine list is decent and adapted to eat, and the service was excellent. it is a nice choice for what will certainly be a comfortable, well prepared meal.

This was our first time in this facility and we were impressed. the Calamari Appetizer did not last long between us 4 and we even saw a second round order! two of us had the fresh lemon linguine seafood pasta, which was very tasty, but could have used more lemon flavor in my mind. the other two had the flatbread pizza and were very satisfied with their choices. also the pears and cabalates were well made and came out very quickly. we had hoped to try the handmade limoncello drinks, but unfortunately they were sold out! they are a favorit, so they will come there early if they want to participate in this drink. the tiramisu was charming and noticeably handmade. we will mark this definitiw as a leading Italian eating chapel hill destination!

Anhang west has been a favorite for a long time, and we stop in the rule when we are in chapel hill. it is excellent everywhere.

I took my Ladies Bible Study group and they all had a wonderful time. Everyone thought their food was delicious and even though it was more than they usually spend, they thought it was a well worth it treat! Our waiter was so very kind, even though we were older guests. I am sure he did not realize he had the pleasure of serving a soon to be 99 year old at our table! She enjoyed herself as we all did. Thank you!
