Shanghai Dumplings - Chapel Hill

Great food! kinda expensive, but amazing dumplings. i had the dan dan noodles (n4), and they were quite spicy. i also had some sort of egg custard dumpling (b16) and they brought tears to my eyes. they were so good. still thinking of them.

No air conditioning on this very hot day made it uncomfortable to dine in but the food was fantastic and reasonably priced.

Dumplings were amazing. Ordered soup, crab and pot stickers and they were all amazing. Crab dumplings were really good and the pot stickers were some of the best I've had. Staff was friendly and efficient.

Everything is absolutely delicious and authentic (even my pickiest Chinese friends approve). Soup dumpling is FILLED with soup and pan fried dumpling is very crispy. We did do dine in and were seated far from other tables. Food came out quickly and server doesn’t talk much but is kind and efficient. Takeout might be good if you steam it at home to reheat it.
