Great idea and initial operation was fantastic. Sadly COVID pandemic had a negative impact on the status of this unique FoodHall/Market. Clearly it is not fault of the vendors nor managers but what started as a great and robust concept with clear potential for success has been stalling lately.I wish one would have a magic wand to wave over the BDPM and restore it to its pre-COVID status. Unfortunately, this is not going to happen. We shall simply wait for the end of this devastating pandemic. Let’s hope that BDPM would survive it and return to its splendor.

Great place to visit for lunch or dinner. Variety of different types of food. They have a BBQ place, Cafe, and two vegan/vegetarian restaurant!! Even has a bar. Has outdoor seating.

Chapel Hill's food hall focuses on locally owned, family operated small businesses. Vegan food, barbecue, Persian stews, craft cider on draft the food and drinks are diverse and affordable. A full meal at any vendor will cost you less than $15, with many options in the $10 range. Friendly and fun, it's great to chat with the chef owners who run their own stalls and *love* to talk about their food (or food in general). The bar focuses on locally owned breweries cideries, so your dollars really do stay in the community. A unique place to take out of towners as well (especially those with food allergies). A good place to hang.

Last week, our family ordered takeout from Bouquet Garni to celebrate our granddaughter's graduation. Chef Eric personally met us at the back door and helped us load all the carefully wrapped dishes into the car. He also kindly provided instructions on how to heat and serve the food. Every dish was incredibly delicious and beautifully presented. The bonus sauces were outstanding! Our gathering included vegetarians, vegans, and meat lovers, and everyone enjoyed the meal. Don't miss the fruit and nut-filled bread pudding for dessert! Thank you, Chef Eric!

I had a fantastic meal at the Senegalese booth! The warm dishes were incredibly comforting and quite filling. The chef was friendly and sociable, even offering us complimentary soup juice. I'm thrilled that we have a local African food vendor right here in Chapel Hill!
