Delicious comfort food, beautiful old building, the wine was the best. All the natural wine ppl would lose their minds over it. Awesome experience! If you love authentic food served by good people and natural wine, I recommend visiting.

I have been here several times and will continue to come. The drive from Chania is about 40 minutes and the ride to Theriso is beautiful. The restaurant is on the main road and the menu is very simple ... the food is very good. The owner is very interactive, when he is there, singing mantinades and taking photos with his traditional outfit and rifle.

If you want authentic Cretan Food you should go there. We eat grilled lamb but for this you call in advance or you are lucky. A huge Greek Salad and very tasty appetizers.

The best Cretan food you can find! Traditional and original!! They have won gold medals for their cooking. By far the most hospitable owner and employees that we've met.They represented all the good things we had heard about Crete. Finally we tasted the Best tsikoudia!!! Will definitely go back one day.

100% home-made food, garden with seasonal vegetables right next to it, and into your plate, we are talking high quality and an owner with ethos. Excellent prices and a gorgeous scenery on the route towards the tavern (a road inside a canyon practically).
