Millstone Cafe - Chadds Ford

Perfect local museum in a local area. On a rainy spring day I understood why there is this particular mood in Wyeth's paintings. The view of the brook is just great. Beautiful cafeteria and gift shop.

The Brandywine Train Display was absolutely amazing! It was interactive, featuring buttons and pedals that allowed visitors to move different elements and control the lights. The Victorian dollhouse was another highlight, complete with a fun "find it" game that everyone can enjoy!

It was Free First Sunday by Peco. I definitely enjoyed it for being my first time here with my Daughter. They had several things to do with the kids that made it exciting. I would highly recommend coming here with your kids

The Brandywine River Museum offers a beautiful environment to admire the paintings of N.C. Wyeth, Andrew Wyeth, and Jamie Wyeth. In addition, it showcases works by other significant American artists, including Horace Pippin.

We took our grandchildren, aged 8 and 13, to the "Freie First Sundays" event, which is held on the first Sunday of each month. You need to register online for this event. We saw the Wayne Thiebaud 100 exhibition, which was delightful. There were various fun crafts related to the artist's work on each level for the kids. I enjoyed it so much that I decided to purchase a membership!
