Ruby Thai Kitchen - Cerritos

My daughter really enjoys the Thai chicken at this restaurant, but there are two different types. I ordered the noodles and Thai chicken kids' meal, and the server initially gave a generous portion of chicken. When my daughter noticed it was the wrong type, I informed the lady, and she seemed annoyed about having to correct it. Eventually, she replaced the incorrect chicken with the right one. However, when I paid and left, I noticed that this time she had only included a small amount of chicken, almost as if it were costing her personally. I’m not satisfied with the service and will not be returning.

The food here is fresh and delicious! While it may not compare to authentic Thai cuisine, it's a great option for fast food, and I highly recommend it. The service was quick and exceptionally friendly, with the staff being very accommodating and always serving us with big smiles. The mango chicken was crispy and delightfully sticky sweet. The spicy chicken truly lived up to its name, packed with flavor from plenty of chilies and garlic. I particularly enjoyed the Thai tofu: it was fried to a crisp and paired well with vegetables like eggplant in a tasty sauce. The pad Thai could use some improvement, but overall, we were all quite satisfied with our meals. I would definitely come back again!

The Spicy Chicken was delicious with just the right amount of heat—not overpowering at all. It was tender and came with a lovely mix of vegetables like zucchini, peppers, and carrots. The Thai Chicken had a nice balance of sweet and savory flavors; it was also tender and enjoyable. The Mango Chicken reminded me of orange chicken; it was crispy and had a delightful sweet and savory taste. Overall, the chicken dishes were quite good. However, the Thai Noodles were a bit bland. I would recommend opting for a different side or adding some sauce or seasoning to enhance the flavor.

Terrible portion sizes, poor quality food, and exorbitant prices. I paid $13 for one side and an entrée, and the plates were barely half full. What a rip-off!
