Blooming Vietnamese Cuisine - Cerritos

I recently tried the Pho bread at this restaurant and it was possibly the best I have had in the LA district. It was so delicious that I wanted to slurp up every last drop with a straw. The parking situation in the shopping center can be difficult, but the food at this place is definitely worth it.

We went here to celebrate my birth-weekend, but also we've been here many times before. I'd say it's our go-to pho place since it's one of the closest to our former home and so far we have been treated well. I think their pho sizes are generous. You'll be really full with a medium. I've always wanted to try since I typically don't finish my own, but I think if two people share a large, it would still be more than enough. I'm also a big fan of their spring rolls. Perf combo of pork, shrimp, cabbage, and their peanut sauce. Yum! We've also had their combination fried rice. It's greasy, but that adds to its flavor. Overall, it's been a good experience and I would recommend around the area to try!

This restaurant has wonderful aquariums with all sorts of sea turtles, rays and fish! Visited for lunch on a Saturday and were seated right away. The servers here are very helpful, and the service is quick and efficient. I am not as big on pho, but love Vietnamese appetizers and rice dishes. We started with the fried tofu, egg rolls and popcorn chicken, which were all really good. I recommend getting the popcorn chicken spicy because medium wasn't as spicy as I'd hoped (if you like spicy things). We had the beef fried rice and cornish hen w/ rice as our main entrees. The cornish hen was crispy and the sauce was good with it and the white rice. Note that if you get soda, they will give you a can, and if you order iced coffee or Thai tea, they will provide it in a sealed plastic cup. I don't know if this from COVID protocol or just standard for the restaurant.

I've not eaten at a VietNamese restaurant before. Enjoyed the shrimp dish they had on the menu. Very tasty. I used a little Sriracha sauce to add some kick because I like spicy. I recommend this fire anyone trying out Viet cuisine for the first time!

They serve water, but the food is delicious. Don't forget to bring your own water haha.
