La Grand Caf - Ceret

This traditional cafe/bar was visited by many artists who stayed in ceret over the years, still leads an air of cosmopolitan life into the modern time.

I really liked this bar. in the great French tradition, most people were sitting outside on pflastertic, but I have to say that it was a real pleasure to sit on a chair at the beautiful, curved marble-covered bar, which was a pressure or three drinking. this. place had friendly service and a wonderful, relaxed atmosphere. top bar.

Stopped by a beer and coffee (with a great treat for children) sat out in the early evening and it was a rather pleasant place to be. the service was quite decent, the cost were appropriate. I'm glad to go back there.

Waitress added item to bill which we neither ordered nor received, to boost price. it was not an accident because when she saw me coming inside to talk to her she ducked her head and just took the bill, with no discussion. oddly, i have...only been to ceret twice and both times the bill was artificially jacked up. other time was at bleu citron down the street. i guess they think tourists don’t check and it is an easy way to increase income.
