Contribuiți la feedbackI heard the good things about Cedar Springs Brewing Company, but living in Jenison never had a reason to dare so far. When I was in my mother's house the other day and she asked if I wanted to leave, I couldn't give up the opportunity! We were surprised how busy it was on Thursday night! We had no problems finding a table, but it was poppin! There were also live music in the beer garden - we were there to talk and recover, so we decided to sit inside, but otherwise the live music saw fun! I have the outdoorsmen to drink what was a crook, and my mother got a pomegranate limonade. I felt like I did a service by not getting a German style beer, but I was in the mood for something more fragile. I know it seems probably like a faux pas to not get German food or a German beer while in a German thematic brewery, but listen... A girl has to listen to her desire, okay? I wanted a bit relatively easy (but like... not salad light Lol) so I got a black bean wrap. I was unreasonably excited that it was formed sausages, and I had to feel as if I was still involved in the topic My mother has the Cedar melt. Also, as a side note, their chips? Absolutely delicious. I don't know what the difference was, but I got hints on Worcestershire sauce? Who knows it's a secret, but it was delicious! We were a little surprised that they had no table service. Everything was ordered at the counter, and when you ordered food, you took a number and they went to you. It wasn't really an inconvenience, just not what we expected! My next order is to go to their Grand Rapids location!
The food is always good here and they make their own soda that's cool. The service is fast, it is different as you order your food, so you have a menu when you go to your table and you see the menu when you find out what you want, go ahead and order your food and then they will get the food to your table.
We had a great time here, really enjoyed our meals. Craft Soda is so good!
I am not sure how many places in larger GR offer authentic German menus, but that is one of them. Based on the descriptions and what we saw on the plates of the other diners, this scar is delicious, fresh and everything seemed to be deep fried! That said we ordered regular bar food it was the lunchtime when we visited were pretty sure that sturdy scavengers etc. us in Thanksgiving-Dinner-Nap mode. We had to go back to GR. But I ordered fried chicken because I'm a junkie. It is not like KFC baked, slightly dusted with light spices that do not overdo the chicken. Perfectly cooked, delicate. The Cheddar melt comes in 2 boards of soft bread and given the freshness of thick Patty I bet that beef never saw the interior of a freezer. The fires are pale. We are shoe-skinned people, but they had a good crust and smooth interiors. There's beer. Coaster Original White Beer is a great lunch beer, fresh. My wife is not a fan of fermented drinks, but really enjoyed the cider apple wine, since it was naturally sweet and not chemically. Orders are taken in the bar and are not bashful about the German articles. The friendly staff understands what you mean and can offer recommendations based on what you usually like. There is no big restaurant, but high ceilings give him some space, and the cheesy decorations give him a German grandmother house to feel.
Foods great. service sux. 4 waitresses standing behind the bar gossiping and doing doing while we have to go up there to get refills and to place order. won't be back
