Bridge Street Burger Shack - Rockford

Bridge Street Burger is hands down our favorite spot! The burgers are straightforward yet incredibly delicious, and the staff is consistently friendly (the owner often cooks and always takes the time to greet us). Even our one-year-olds enjoy it! Pro tip: try the loaded fries for an extra treat!

Tom and I ordered two double-hanging castles, and I got the fries. Tom chose the loaded pommes, which were excellent but a bit too spicy for my taste. The staff was fantastic—very friendly—and they even treated Tom to a free meal as a token of appreciation for his service as a veteran. This is a wonderful addition to Rockford, and we'll definitely be back!

Everyone has their favorite burger spot, and this one definitely deserves a mention. Trust me, it’s a charming little place with reasonable prices and burgers that are so delicious they make for a great option for both date nights and family outings. Just one thing to note: if they ever add a malt machine, I might find myself visiting too often, so it’s probably for the best if they don’t!
