Contribuiți la feedbackEpic food, beautiful restaurant, and great service. From welcoming us with a big smile when we arrived, all the way to the end, our host Eric made sure to make the evening very special. His great explanations and kind way of serving us made the night even more perfect. The food, created by chef Boet Berendsen and his second, is divine! This restaurant deserves way more than 5 stars. Everything is thought through, from the music to the ambience, truly a great experience. Grazie mille!
Vegan restaurants where one can enjoy a full vegan menu are rare in the area, so we were delighted to give Bianco Rosso Verdure a try. The place is pleasant enough, the owner is very friendly and enthusiastic, her staff a little less. The restaurant serves also meat, fish and dairy, however, it was quite obvious that our party was of the vegan lot; nevertheless the waiter brought a breadbasket with different sorts of breads, some containing cheese and eggs. Forgivable, luckily we noticed it right away, but unfortunate. We went for a fixed priced tasting menu €25, consisting of small, but sufficient courses from appetisers to desert. The price is ok, the dishes were presented nicely, but the food itself may need to improve. Personally, I was missing something raw, fresh and crunchy. The food was generally rather oily, thus felt heavy. The Hummus was of a rather thick consistency and had a slight taste of “fridge” to it, so did the so called vegan cheese. I had the feeling that none of the courses were prepared freshly, but had been on this planet for a few days already. A difference of texture and flavours leaves to be desired. I admire the courage of the owner to introduce a vegan cuisine, understand the challenge, but as a customer and vegan chef I unfortunately felt the is still a lot to be desired at Bianco Rosso Verdure. However, that much said, I will return to see how things move along.
We had dinner here whilst on holiday in nearby Colle San Paolo. The restaurant is stylish with modern decor and a light airy feel. The menu was a set six course tasting style menu with portions large enough to leave you feeling fully satisfied. The food was of a very good quality and apart from the odd exception due to personal taste we all enjoyed all the courses. The service was friendly and attentive and the prices reasonable .we would definately visit here again if on holiday in the area
Fantastic location surrounded by greenery, near siena. lunch between friends, we liked every single dish: I vegan and the other 2 omnivorous diners have greatly appreciated the chosen dishes. I chose as appetizer a cocomero cooked as meat. something I never ate! I take the opportunity to advise everyone to eat different dishes every now and then try something never tasted before, at least not always eat the same things! spicy and seasoned eggplant was a pleasure of the senses. sweets have fantastic lunch closed (both for vegans and omnivores). Thank you, we will definitely come back
I'm not that big of a card, hot pizza, pasta, fish rights and good wines. Very nice offer and pleasant ambiance.
