I normally wait to write a review after I finished the meal, but Valente Is so amazing, I cannot wait. You're not going to find a more tranquil place. The staff is absolutely welcoming, they all greeted me as I walked in. I chose the orecchiette to start and then wrapped pork an potatoes the second plate. I'm sure I'll pick a dessert so I can make this experience last a little longer. I'm so happy to have found this place and I can guarantee you'll love every bite. UPDATE: I GOT DESSERT

I would recommend Valente to anyone visiting this area. The service was friendly and efficient. Tasteful decor in an outdoor courtyard in the centre of Casarano creating a relaxed but smart environment. The food was superb- I went for traditional pasta with octopus, my wife for slow cooked beef pasta parcels with bechamel sauce. Dessert was a real treat, especially the traditional gelato. We also appreciated the fresh warm bread on arrival and good value white wine

We visited Casarano by chance and ended up at Valente. Absolutely beautiful from the minute we arrived. A stunning courtyard. Divine music and an organic wine. Followed by a brilliant octopus salad. Pasta from the gods and a dessert to die for. Worth every penny
