Pizzeria Al Caminetto - CARTURA

We came for lunch , it was not a destination for us , but a find along our way and a good one .The lady in the dining room was welcoming and attentive , she was helpful and accommodating with our particular requests slight variations on our pizzas for this instead of that etc. The wine and water were brought quickly sounds a bit biblical doesn't it ? After a short wait our big pizzas arrived . I liked the fact that the crust was crisp the topping not too thick so it was not sloppy or soggy don't you just hate soggy bottom pizza? My darling was happy with his pizza , he only ever eats the same one , mozzarella di buffala with pomodorini and fresh basil leaves. I have the Napolitano anchovies , black olives ...hold the capers only here they call it Romano Pizza , the delightful lady with a happy face told me ,....... They had a pepper grinder , and dried chilli flakes , so I was set with my Napolitana/Romano Pizza. My darling gave his pizza a 7/10 i gave mine a 9/10 ...we had some fresh fruit to follow.... cost 25 euros total. I would visit this establishment again , Ill try the pasta next time . It looked good as neighbouring tables were tucking into big plates of pasta.
