Celtic Creamery - Carolina Beach

Very good ice cream and donuts, but the flavors could be a little bit better. The gift shop is good and well thought out. The employees are usually super nice and will help you with the needs you have. I would much rather go to Wake N Bake for donuts though.

Visited with my wife and our infant child. Old woman working there insinuated my wife had stolen something until we literally showed her the item at which point she tried to backtrack and be overly friendly. Hardly makes for a pleasant customer experience. The store is cluttered with merchandise. We won't be back.

Ice Cream is homemade. It's a cute shop with lots of trinkets. Service was great since this is Off Season at the beach. I even got my dog ice cream and she gave it 2 paws up.

There 's a lot going on at Celtic Creamery, and all of it is either delicious or interesting. They 've got ice cream, and made-to-order mini donuts, and fudge, and hot nuts (that 's what she said , and slushies, and milkshakes, and handbags, and t-shirts, and toys for children and dogs. You will walk out of this place satisfied in some way. We visited for ice cream. Typically, I 've found that places with the word creamery in the name give great ice cream. And in this case, my hunch was proven true. They have some great ice cream at Celtic! One of my kids got a cup of cookies and cream, and the other kid got a cookie dough milkshake. They both loved their treats. Ice cream is not really my thing, but I saw that Celtic Creamery made and sold mini donuts, which are definitely my thing. They make the donuts right after you order them, so they 're hot and fresh. They 're served with either cinnamon or powdered sugar. I got the only correct choice. (Cinnamon, just FYI. They were are great as you might think fresh cinnamon donuts might taste! The people who work at Celtic Creamery are super friendly and exceedingly patient. They didn 't blink an eye when it took us (meaning, my children a while to decide which ice cream flavor to choose. They know that choosing a flavor is a Very Important Decision, and they respect the time it takes to decide correctly.

The best ice cream I’ve ever had. The employee and Owners are awesome. The gift shop is the best on the island.
