Burney's Bakery Ice Cream Shop

I bought cakes and pantries daily for people in Southport.

I lived here for 2-1/2 years and sad to say I never had their pastries. I don't eat much sugar so one of the reasons is why we don't visit this place. But yesterday I took our grandchildren (who were visited) in Burney's and of course I took HAD sample. Everything was absolutely delicious. To my surprise they have a Blueberry Ricotta thing (not quite a pastry and not a cake) that was delicious and not all the sweet tasting. I was also surprised to see how much room they have inside for sitting and eating. Great place and we'll be back!

Heavenly. Only the thought of Burneys makes my mouthwater. Get early for the best selection and prepare to find your happy place.

The best bakery in the area! We live in Wilmington and are definitely looking forward to the ride down to get a dozen croissants! We even made an hour of detour to SC to get a dozen for Father's Day! Good.

I tried this place for the first time this week after I came here for the last 8 years, I definitely missed something big! As Ricky Bobby would say, they are the best there is, it's just as if you didn't first, you're the last! Well, they are definitely first!!
