Village Gem - Carmel

This is a Real Gem a few tables, clean, nicely decorated, the food is always fresh and sources from great places, seasonal, from appetizer to main course Amir and his team are very attentive, friendly and patient. Nice wine list, the home baked bread is so tempting you can't stop eating. The meat and seafood is so fresh and cooked to perfection. A locals secret place always a pleasure to return

Attentive service from our waitress. Outdoor patio was not representative of Carmel. Located in walkway between apartments or businesses with no view of any kind. If food had been delicious, I 'd overlook the location and the high prices. Latte was good. Food was tremendously disappointing. Had the chicken and waffles, neither of which had any seasoning (seemed like not even salt or pepper). After 3 bites of chicken fat, I gave up. Husband had a steak and egg burrito which was also not seasoned and was mostly potatoes. There are much better places to eat in Carmel. Not a gem .

Wonderful service from Amir and equally as fantastic food from the kitchen. I can't believe this place isn't packed 24/7! Truly a hidden gem, can't wait to try for brunch.

We tried this place out today for breakfast. The service was great! It's small and quaint and wet didn't have a reservation but they easily accommodated my husband and I and our two doggies. They brought them fresh water and made them feel at home. My husband has the country fried steak which he really enjoyed. I had the smoked salmon omelette. It was tasty but not something I would order again. A bit salty for my taste but that's what happens when you venture. We split an order or the ricotta pancakes which were good but I felt like something was missing from them. All in all I give it a 7/10.

A true hidden gem! Food, service and ambiance were all top notch and we will be back!
