Very disappointed... I have stayed here a number of times over the years with no complaints but stayed last week overnight and was shocked at the dirt of the lounge area...carpet and chairs...there's no excuse for this situation...please deep clean the lounge area!! Sorry to say I wont be back!

Stayed here Saturday 12 09. Here is my opinion impression of my stay here. We checked in around 4pm and we were told all the usual stuff upon check in. And also children have to be out of the bar by 10pm. Once I put my child to bed, around 8pm, I went down to the bar for a pint a drink for my partner. There was a party in the bar, and it had extremely loud music, so much that I had to sit out in the lobby. There was also a lot of children aged between 5 and 10 years old running around both in the bar and the lobby outside on the footpath. I finished my pint and headed back up to my room. I was on the 4th floor, and I could hear the music in my room, and the kids shouting and screaming outside. My child woke 2 times between 9pm and 11.20pm. Due to the noise, I had to keep the window closed from the noise but the room was very warm. As there is no air with in the room, only a fan. The room was modern and clean. The showers swimming pool needs updating but I suspect this is being done to obtain the 4 stars. Overal our stay was ok. The food in the bar and the breakfast were very good. The noise while understandable for a sat night, was annoying. And it is never nice to see young children of that age in a bar after 9pm. But perhaps that is just me. And I will say it was all quiet by 11:30om. But I believe the hotel needs a bit of a way to go to be classed as child friendly.
