Thelma's Wangs Thangs - Carlitos

Got the wings which were great. My cousin’s kids were there and the owners gave them toys to play with. Gave the atmosphere a 4 because my seat was slightly uncomfortable. But there was a chicken-theme going on that the kids loved. Kid-friendliness: The owners gave the kids toys to play with.

I did not have high expectations but WOW! We traveled from TX to NM. Thelma’s is definitely one of our fav spots on this trip. We got the lemon pepper habeñero wings, chicken on a stick with fries. So fresh delicious. All of the chicken was juicy. The honey mustard garlic parm side sauces were 10/10.

I went here two years ago and had some amazing wings after a day at the cavern.

We decided to stop by here after going to the caverns and let me just say, them wangs were thangin! The sauces were amazing (especially that good stuff) and the wings were cooked perfectly. We even came back the next day to try out their burgers, and they came out great! You can tell that the staff cares about what they are doing there, and the atmosphere is super cozy and inviting! We are definitely coming back here the next time we visit Carlsbad, New Mexico.
