The Winding Wheel - Cannock Chase

New menu and tried the kebab which was excellent and very filling. Staff are very friendly and the atmosphere is great. Will be coming back

We came for the new year's eve disco and buffet. We are regulars at the pub, go in fairly often and this is our third NYE at the Wheel. The bar staff are a true credit to the business, particularly Rachel and Ellie. They work so hard with a genuine smile on their faces and as a former publican myself, if you get the staff right then you've won. Very little waiting at the bar and the drinks were accurate all night. The buffet was brilliant! A lovely mixture of hot and cold food and great quality, thank you. Now to the problem, the DJ is poor and was even worse than last year. I appreciate that you can't keep everyone happy but he didn't really get started until 10ish, played a random selection of all sorts and ignored pretty much all of our requests! Perhaps this is part of the charm and it won't stop me going again because the pub and the staff are great. Thank you!

Lovely family xmas night with brilliant festive menu, food was fantastic. Very much a family friendly pub and really nice and helpful staff. Great night.

I popped in for some lunch and had the veggie chilli. It was lovely and just the right spice. Gemma and the team were really friendly and the toilets were nice and clean. Great visit will come again.

5 Great food, great company! Fab for kids and grown ups. Great outdoor space for enjoying a beer in the sunshine :
