Indian Smokehouse - Cannock Chase

Firstly if you are looking for a typical or standard run of the mill Indian restaurant then go elsewhere this place is not that at all! This place is quite unique in that it offers sports, live entertainment, a great drinks range and an indian smokehouse/grill menu! It 's a lively and fun place, it 's loud but relaxed and it offers great value! I think they have 7 large screens, they had a band on when we went Saturday evening) and they have a large drinks range which is competitively priced the food is amazing value! The food menu consists of starters, main courses grill platters) and curries with some English options also! The service is friendly and engaging and they were up for laugh! The grill platter I had was delicious freshly cooked and served in great time! Overall a lot of fun, tasty food just a great experience! Will be back

I've eaten here a few times now and the food has never let me down. The chef is amazing and beer is always perfect. To sumerise: great food, great beer and good price.

This is a sports bar with Indian Food so I believe that should manage most peoples expectations as it isn't a fine dining restaurant. More specifically this place serves Indian mixed grills which are quite popular with a lot of people. The mixed grill is probably one of the best I have tasted IMO it wasn't oily and the spice/heat was just right didn't feel overly bloated after eating a fair bit. Staff could be more interactive but as long as the food and drink is good and issues are resolved promptly when they arise then I really don't have any complaints! Will definitely be visiting again very soon.

Was expecting more of a restaurant feel. Order and pay for your drinks then order and pay for food separately. Atmosphere loud and people constantly swearing. Food was delivered but had to go and find own culterlry, plates etc. Food over spiced and felt like a takeaway box you warm up from the supermarket, greasy . Chalked it up to experience wouldnt go again or recommend people go for meals . No staff interaction i dont think they were bothered.

We arrived and was advised that it was table service only. Nobody came to take our order after 15 minutes of waiting. The place wasn’t busy and the staff were too busy chatting to each other to care. We left without ordering any drinks and won’t be returning.
