The Iron Goat Pub and Grill - Canmore

The food at this restaurant is top-notch, particularly the burgers which we rated a 5 out of 5. However, the service was the most disappointing we've ever encountered. It took our waitress 20 minutes to take our order and bring our first drink, and then she disappeared for the rest of our meal. No one checked on us to see how our meal was or if we needed anything, not even another drink. Despite the subpar service, we would consider returning solely for the delicious food. It's clear that our waitress could benefit from additional training.

I had a fantastic experience dining at Iron Goat Pub Grill. The service was excellent and the food was delicious. Our server was friendly and fluently spoke both French and English. He even brought us beer samples to assist us in selecting our drinks. We shared the Coconut Shrimp Salad and Chicken and Goat Cheese Pizza among three of us, and they were incredibly tasty. Furthermore, I would like to note that the restroom was clean and well-kept.

The pizza was delicious! We ordered the chicken and goat cheese one and now we want to have this restaurant near our home, the pizza is so good! Another recommendation: the unconventional paddle (drafts).

Celebrated our parents 60th Anniversary, Outstanding Service! Can't say enough great things about this place or it's staff! Food was excellent, price was on point and the drinks were tasty and flowing! The entire family was very impressed and all would love to return! I had the meatloaf (Bison, Elk and Beef) very delicious and I recommend the Hikers Delight cocktail. Give this place a try, you won't be disappointed. Professional, Energetic and Courteous staff.

Recommended by a family friend, my husband and I stopped in for a late lunch and cocktail. We sat on the patio to enjoy the great mountain views, a lovely back drop for a meal. My husband sampled a flight of the local beers, while I had a hiker’s delight mix cocktail…..it was really good, as I had seconds! For lunch, I had an order of duck wings…they were delicious! My husband had a True Canadian pizza, which he really enjoyed, the crust was thin with a flavourful sauce, baked perfectly with fresh toppings. The service was timely, courteous and thoughtful..filling water, checking in periodically to make sure we had everything and were happy.
