My wife had the cannelloni and it had lots of great flavor. All this and Brio!! Make this a stop on your Canmore foodie tour!!
The bread was really good, almost ordered more for the meal! but i ordered the EGGPLANT STACK it is amazing!!! 10/10 recommend. husband had the pizza pasta liked it so much he ordered it again a couple days later the meatballs were okay, i didn’t love the caesar salad dressing though. waitress was really nice, we had great service! try the eggplant stack!
Good Italian food for a reasonable price. If you’re looking for a dish with a unique flavour try the Coconut Green Curry Pasta, it sounds strange but the flavour is very mild but still gives you that coconut curry kick.
We love supporting local. This is one of the best choices we did. 1st time to order here. We were in front of the store at 12noon waiting to open we ordered 14' Frankies Favorite Pizza and Surf and Turf pasta. Total with tips $60. Wait was 15 20 mins for the order. There was no dine in or patio due to the restrictions. Our orders were amazing and did not disappoint! The surf and turf was delish with the right amount of heat. The pizza was a delight, i love the handmade crust crunch and just enough toppings. We ate our order at a park at the back of the restaurant. I will definitely recommend this and be back here whenever we visit Canmore.
Nestled between a coffee shop and a kids toy store you might miss this unassuming and romantic little Italian restaurant. Once inside this intimate restaurant you will be greeted by the friendliest staff, a few booths, and several tables; all with enough space around them that you don't feel crowded. If you're lucky you might get the window seat. The drink/wine menu was brief but more than complete allowing you to choose wine by the glass or a bottle, a selection of local beers, and several classic cocktails. I highly recommend a bottle of the Campagnola Amarone big, bold, and beautiful! I started with a simple but tasty Caesar salad; I had a small/starter and it was the perfect size. For my main I had the Sambuca Penne; it was rich with flavour, ample tender chicken, and the perfect amount of creamy sauce (the kind you soak up in some made in house bread). Dessert was a light and delicious pistachio ricotta cake a perfect end to a great meal. Each course arrived with perfect timing. After 27 years in business I'm guessing they have perfected their table service. You will definitely leave here full and happy; likely planning your next visit to this hidden in plain sight Canmore gem!
