Arashi Ramen - Canmore

I adore this ramen shop! I came here all the way from Vancouver and found it to be very similar to authentic ramen spots there. They have unique ramen options that I haven't seen before, like the black arashi and curry ramen. Both dishes were incredibly hearty and satisfying after a chilly day outside. We visited during happy hour and also tried the karaage, which was absolutely delicious. I highly recommend giving this place a try - there are so many options to choose from, so don't hesitate to ask the friendly staff for recommendations if you're having trouble deciding.

This restaurant is a hidden gem, offering some of the best ramen in CANMORE, ALBERTA! Located just 20 minutes outside of Banff, Ramen Arashi may not be visually stunning but excels in its culinary offerings. While the service may not be exceptional and seating is limited with no waiting area, the food is the star here. We tried the Pork Gyoza, which was good but standard. The Signature Tantan and Black Arashi ramen bowls, however, were amazing. The pork belly and noodles were the best I've had in ramen so far, with the pork belly being tender and delicious, and the noodles having a perfect texture with a nice chew. The only downside was the excessive amount of cold/almost frozen spinach in the Tantan bowl, which took away from the dish. Additionally, Arashi offers some reportedly excellent vegan and gluten-free options on their menu so everyone can enjoy their delicious food.

The ramen was good, but I prefer my soup to be very spicy and the broth was only warm. The peanut flavor was also too overpowering for my taste. These are just my personal preferences.

Hands down the best ramen I've ever had. I love the blend of flavours and we tried spice level 3!! Also love their crispy chicken, it's fried to perfection, crispy on the outside and juicy inside. Great service too! Please open an outlet in Calgary too! Must try Chicken karaage Devil's Arashi

We stumbled upon Ramen Arashi around 10am while parking in the town after doing an early morning hike in Canmore. So glad we got to try their take on ramen. The black garlic ramen was amazing! The flavours of the black sesame broth were prevalent, along with the creamy peanut flavours. Would 100% recommend if you happen to be in the area!
