If you're torn between having coffee or dessert, why not enjoy a drink that combines both? At Gather on the Green, they offer a delicious red velvet latte that is a blend of raspberry and chocolate flavors. Making this latte is more difficult than regular coffee due to the red coloring, but the experienced baristas here can even create latte art hearts on top. The addition of turmeric provides health benefits such as improved digestion, detoxification, and better skin conditions. Thank you to Gather on the Green for bringing such inspiring and healthy drinks to Sydney with their red velvet latte.
From the moment I walked in, I was always treated like a friend rather than just a customer. The staff is incredibly genuine (even if it means being a little too honest at times). The atmosphere is top-notch, the food is delicious, but it's the staff that truly makes me feel like coming back again and again.
This lovely little cafe with a few tables inside and out is located opposite a sprawling lawn on a small street. Very busy on weekends but during the weekday you can usually pull up a seat to a very tasty cup of coffee. They have sweet items and good cafe fare. <br/ <br/ Will definitely return but probably not with large groups or little children unless you're a local. Good spot for couples and catching up with friend s.
Quite impressed with Gather on the Green. In a nutshell, really great prices and hearty meals.<br/ <br/ I ordered the scrambled tofu and a completely different dish was brought out and was actually on the order receipt as well. When it was taken away I overheard the order go through incorrectly again as scrambled eggs, but luckily I mentioned it was the scrambled tofu dish again and finally it went through. Because of this though, it came out a fair bit after the first dish but oh well. In the end it was a great dish and had spinach and mushrooms as well. Flavouring was slightly sweet but not unpleasant in a savoury dish. I asked for no butter on the toast, but apparently it was really nice, almost as if it had cheese on it. Baked eggs with baked beans was delicious as well. And both at $15 and $15.50 – you’ll notice the other dishes have attractive pricing also.<br/ <br/ Coffee was great! Strong and slightly bitter, so if that’s up your alley you’ll love this. They also now have matcha lattes and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Not overly sweet and comes in a huge mug. Personally I could have done with a stronger matcha taste, but that’s just me and it is still really nice as it is.
