Contribuiți la feedbackI visited this restaurant with a friend. He ordered a pizza (pictured) and I got the boscaiola, and we also shared an Italian salad. The salad was ordinary, but it did its job. The pizza and pasta were delicious, and we received excellent service from the friendly waitress.
Frank's pizza is another Sydney restaurant that has been operating for years. The pizza's and lasagne are great! Don't skip gelato after dinner!
For a Sunday lunch we were looking for a cheap and nice place to eat some pizza, which would be open around 2pm. If you are looking for something similar, this place is great! We ordered large margherita, medium mushroom and medium Australian. They were all good, however a little bit too salty, but it depends on your taste. Waiters are very friendly, but sometimes forget what you asked for :
Love this place...great food, great ambience and lovely hospitality...I have been to Frank's pizza so many times and never once been disappointed. Penne Arabiata is our family favourite. Pizza is awesome and staff are very friendly and professional.
I have driven past this pizzeria many of times and never thought about stopping by until yesterday when it was all wet and cold, with a real hankering for pizza. At lunch time, most of the pizza palours don't open until 5-6pm which was a shame. Despite the down pour, I still managed to get myself ready and head out the door to Frank's. It never ceases to surprise me the motivation I find when craving for a certain type of food to gobble. <br/ Trawled through the Internet to see what, around the inner city had a pizzeria open during the day, and voila! Frank's it was. <br/ The interior of this place is quite rustic and had that homey vibe to it. Simply decor that got the job done, is how I would describe this place. It's also one of those family friendly places, as there were quite a few children in the restaurant when we were dining there. <br/ The staff were prompt in their greetings and bringing our the menu and taking your drinks order, so prompt tbat you don't even have time to look at the menu. The menu had all the traditional stuff and kept things simple which I thought was marvellous. Makes decision making so much easier. What's really cool is how they recycle their tins of tomatoes that they use and turned it into a pizza stand, good way of upcycling.<br/ So...<br/ We ordered to share: one medium size pizza that equated to three slices each but got half and half topping, as this alleviated any form of disagreement which is always a bonus. We got half marinara and<br/ Supreme. I personally preferred the supreme and the seafood on the pizza looked as though they were frozen seafood, as they were quite small in size and had that frozen look about it. Seldom would you get fresh seafood on pizza, hence I try to stay away from the seafood topping range. We also ordered their creamed pesto ravioli which was average, as it lacked flavour and all you could taste was the creaminess. But that was enough for the two of us, and bonus point is... there was room for dessert!<br/ I got the tarimisu and my culinary compatriot ordeted a nutella mousse and the size was rather one heck of a helping! We could have just shared a dessert had we known that it was LARGE!<br/ All in all it was a delightful experience and we were thoroughly satisfied. The prices were rather reasonable and the desserts were dirt cheap! $6.50. That made my day. On a final note, be aware that this place doesn't take card and it's a cash only premises. We got caught out and had to run across the road to get cash out. So annoying how places don't take card, half of us rarely carry money on us anymore. Oh! And I wish they would do home delivery as well. Apart from that, nothing else. : <br/
