Contribuiți la feedbackWednesday night wing night. The place was packed. The wings are very good. They come plain and you go to the counter to pick the sauce you want. There must be a dozen or so varieties of sauces, all in a warm water bath. The service was great! If in town, this is a happening spot.
We were staying at the Quality Inn next door and felt like eating close by as it was a stormy December evening. Snow/freezing rain was blowing sideways in the wind and it was not a night to venture far. You enter the 1026 and it's clear this is a bar. Guy food, beers, all that good carnivorous stuff. Looking at the menu it was loaded with goodies of Pizza, wings, burgers, pasta and some seafood options. Really a pretty decent menu. Don't expect gourmet food but a solid offering of food that goes well with beer. I had a hankering for a burger so I chose a portabella swiss burger and was recommended the caesar salad (I try avoid fries with all my biz travel). Burger came out a very generous portion and the caesar was quite good actually. A bit garlicky but generous with dressing and croutons. The burger was on the better side of okay. Not the best I've eaten in my life but not bad none the less. We were here for a Wednesday night and noticed wings were 1/2 price. Not gourmet food but very decent pub food to meet the needs!
It is attached to the Quality Inn the, near the bridge. Essentially it is a large sports bar, with multiple large screens around the room showing different sports events. We were greeted cheerfully and informally; the service was friendly and swift. We shared a good seafood chowder creamy and hot and then a good standard but wholesome plate of fish and chips which with a pint of beer came to $50 excluding tip.
Big change sence last time ive went . Big improvement ! Very good place to eat with friends and family . Good ambience . Fast service ! , waitress could of been abit more friendly . Food was awesome !! Took the 1026 Burger with a greek salade (15$ tx included) , it made my tastebuds jump ! Recommended if your in town for the night . Beer is nice and cold !
Ate here a few times while in Campbellton on business. They have a good, reasonably priced salad bar at lunch. However, I had fish chips for dinner, and found there was way too much batter on the fish, so the outside was crispy but inside there was a layer of uncooked batter. One of the people I was with raved about how excellent the seafood chowder was, but I didn't try it myself. There was an outside patio for warm weather.
