Contribuiți la feedbackWe have eaten at dukes many times and never leave hungry. There food is very good with a diverse menu, lots of specials including all you can eat Prime rib one night a week. Portions are a little one the big size and you can get breakfast for dinner if you like. Breakfast, lunch or dinner you won't be disappointed. One of my favourites is their beef dip. Service is great and the waitress' are very friendly.
Went out for a ride and we stopped at Dukes for dinner. Had the meatloaf. Was pretty good and was a very large portion. Nice atmosphere, and was in and out in less than an hour. Good food and friendly place for a bite to eat
We've eaten breakfast at Duke's many times and always enjoyed it. It was one of our fairly regular go-to's for brunch. After our last visit, however, we won't be going back. The staff on this visit were clearly conducting a master class on how to scare away a restaurant's clientele. When we got there, the place was empty save for one lone gentleman finishing his breakfast. We ordered from the overly loud but cheerful waitress and got our water and coffee. Twenty minutes later, with the restaurant still virtually empty, the waitress came back and apologized for the wait. They had just made 18 burgers, she said, and the grill was being cleaned. We continued to wait...and wait...and wait, while other people came into the restaurant and received their food orders. After we'd been waiting about 45-50 minutes, with no food in sight, I went to the front desk to ask how long it would be, because we were starving at this point. I had no sooner opened my mouth when the waitress started shouting at me -- loud enough that everyone in the restaurant turned around to look -- that she wasn't the cook, she wasn't the waitress, and I was being rude to her. I tried to explain that we really had been waiting an awfully long time and that others who came afdter us had been served, but she wouldn't back down, getting louder and louder. While this was going on, the cook was leaning through the window watching, clearly not cooking our food. At that point we decided to leave, at which our charming server (a short, large-ish young woman with a blonde ponytail) demanded $5.50 for the coffee one of us drank.Guess what? I'm the customer, and I don't have to tolerate this. There are much better places to eat than Duke's and next time we're going out we'll pick someplace else.
First time here by myself as I was getting a tire fixed nearby. No hours were on the door but good thing lady came out said they open at 800 am and then she allowed me in before 8am to have a coffee while I waited for breakfast time to start. I orders a basic breakfast 2 eggs, 2 toast, 2 bacon, 2 sausage and it was $11.99. I didnt like the plates they serve the food on too small for all the food. They need bigger plates I dont like having egg on my toast when the yolks break and like more room.Place was certainly clean.Waitress was very nice and gave me refill coffee without asking me if I wanted more.
Have been visiting Dukes for years. Still well priced and friendly . An on the go place to eat. Evening specials are 2 for 1.
