Ideal Cafe - Campbell River

I recently tried the vegan skillet for breakfast and it was delicious! I highly recommend it.

I have driven past this restaurant many times and never would have guessed that they had a vegan menu. When we finally decided to go, my partner was hesitant because of all the freedom convoy decorations. I convinced him to come in anyway, and we were pleasantly surprised. The food was delicious and our server was incredibly friendly. The restaurant still maintains its old diner U bar, which added to the charm of the experience. We loved it.

We had a delicious lunch yesterday thanks to the reviews on this app! The vegan options were fantastic and the service was friendly and fast. We ordered a vegan skillet and a vegan burger with fries, both were delicious. We will definitely be returning in the future!

We were in Campbell River to visit and geocache for the day and came upon this place in TripAdvisor ratings.The diner is very interesting as it is an old logging camp building.The menu includes everything (especially breakfast) that you could want from a diner. We chose burgers and were pleasantly surprised. It is rare that I savour meals and I would have to put the burger that I ate in my top 5 best burgers I've ever eaten.So wish I had room for dessert!
