Baba Gannouj - Campbell River

We never would have discovered this place if our son hadn't told us about it. I'm grateful he did because the food was outstanding! This small family-run restaurant in a strip mall was only made possible because of COVID. I tried the beef and it was definitely worth the trip to Comox.

When we travel, we often prefer to explore local restaurants rather than eating at the hotel. Our dining experience at Baba Gannouj was delightful - the food was served quickly, tasted fresh, and was absolutely delicious! I highly recommend trying their Vegetarian Plate, which was a standout dish. You can easily take it to go or enjoy it at a table. I only wish we had more time in town so we could sample more of their dishes.

The restaurant serves amazing food with excellent customer service. The place is clean and respects social distancing measures. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Was in town for day trip from Quadra (started to a bit of cabin fever) and saw this place highly rated on TripAdvisor. A real hit and not to miss one. Had big Donair and a 5 for $5 falafel plate. Love!!! Donair is not... Sufficient to max, but must not be. Remembered me of street food style Donair Cuz it was all about taste / quality and not quantity to mask the taste. YUM-MY!!! Good overall value. Buddies had the oriental dish that was def for those with a slightly larger appetite! Fresh vegetables everywhere. For the next time, we'll be in town!!

Generous tasty portions take out best as limited sitting area. Closes 7.30 and not in downtown area so must drive to it
