Excellent portuguese typical food as well as the normal menu.

We only asked if a table for two was possible, we didn't even get a response from the gentleman behind the counter, just a look of contempt. We know that the month of August is not an easy month for catering, but there must be a minimum of education. The food can be very good but after the attitude it is certain that I will not return to the place nor will I recommend it to anyone. And who is speaking is a local person who spends the year here, not a seasonal tourist.

Been on a bit of a road trip and stopped off in Vila Velha De Rodao, and decided to eat here in the evening. The food generally was uninspiring but my wife had the Bacalao. (Fish dish, Cod? Anyway, she was unhappy with the taste, she said it tasted odd. Later that evening she was really unwell, vomit and so on! Nearly called the doctor out but she said that she would be OK. After talking to the hotel owner where we were stopping, he commented that this sort of thing was unusual. The bar normally has a good reputation for food, but the cook had changed a week or two previously. Guess that was a bad move on the part of the management, we won't be going back!!!
