Malarkey's - CAMDENTON

Not very impressing. Understanding it's a bar and bar food. it was pretty average. Server was not the best. she acted as if she did want to be there and made us not feel very welcomed as visitors. She never came and checked up on us when we got our food. We understood she was working the bar as well but if you can't do it all then you shouldn't do it. We waited for the bill in most places and she never came, so we walked up to the bar. She judged me for wanting to see what the pay was. Before she cashed out the bill was $49 and then when she gave it back it was $50, i understand it was probably tax but I never got to see what it was. She stood right there as I was paying, made me feel as if I had to give a good tip when she was horrible. The vibe was also very local town. again didn't make us feel very welcomed as soon as we walked in. I would never recommend anybody to ever go to this establishment if they can help it.

We have been here many times since they opened and it is always great. The food is outstanding and service just as good.

The place is a great bar, and eating place. The food is wonderful and they have the coldest draft beer in frosted mugs of any place in the lake area. And Thursday nights is cheap beer night. They have two pool tables and one night each week they have karaoke. There are tvs all over the place. I love going there.

Was looking for a casual place to replace Malarkey's that closed in May. We have found it! He had the catfish dinner. It had great flavor and large portions. I had chicken wings, which I enjoyed. Really cheap prices on beer. Menu is mostly burgers, sandwiches and a few salads. We will be back!
