Barilla Holiday Park

We stayed at this park for two nights and it turned out to be the best one during our trip. The site had a beautiful view, electricity and water hookup, and a grey water drain between each location. Access was easy with a keypad boom gate and it was only a few minutes from the highway. The area was very quiet with minimal outside noise, making it a great value near Hobart.

I love this restaurant, just a 15-minute drive from Hobart. The staff are fantastic and the parking lot is very clean. They offer gourmet pizza, a wide selection of drinks, and a restaurant with a private hot pool at 36 degrees, as well as a 19-hole mini golf course. You won't be disappointed here.

We took a two-week road trip to a house on the east coast of Tasmania, and stayed here on our first night as it was close to the airport where we picked up our rental car. The accommodation met all our needs, so we decided to return on our way back to Hobart. The car park is beautiful and well-maintained, with the added bonus of a restaurant. We enjoyed delicious pizza and pasta, and the kids had a great time playing mini golf and in the playground. The individual bathrooms in refurbished tanks were a nice touch, providing privacy and making showering easier for the little ones. Overall, a fantastic place to stay - clean, tidy, and welcoming.

We were at a power plant. it was $45 per night. the lady at the reception was super beautiful. the website itself was good, no problems. the toilet was clean and the showers had nice hot water. the showers cost nothing extra, but. They press a button and it goes for 7 min with a 1 min lockout after the shower. if they need, they can wait a minute, then press the button again (the taste is not outside the shower area, so they can press it without the anxiety in front of someone they see naked). we do not have the other things available, but there is a laundry, kitchen and an outdoor BQ area. washing machine takes 4x$1 coins for a 30 min cycle; drier costs the same for 55 min cycle. as a $1 coin if you want to use the laundry facilities!

We recently travelled to Tasmania and hired a Motorhome to tour around tassie in and this is one of the places we parked at. Out of all of the other parks, this one was the best! We stayed at a lot of big4 parks and...this one run rings around them. The parks were well kept with great maintained grounds and it was well set out. The amenities were spotless and the great kitchen even had a delicious coffee maker for $2 a cup. There was a heated/thermal pool on the grounds that you could hire for $10 per person per hour. We put it to good use and only paid $10 for the two of us for half hourly sessions. It was a spa as well. There was a restaurant and coffee shop there as well. My only complaint about the whole time we were there is that since the restaurant wasn't open on a Monday, we decided to try dinner there on Sunday night. It was a pizza pasta restaurant. When we went to order our pizza and pasta we were told that they did not do pasta on monday night which was a shame as we then had to go elsewhere so never got to try the restaurant on site. The staff were amazing from the lovely desk staff to the cleaner and groundsman. We got to chat to them all and as well as being so friendly they were able to direct us to some great Hobart sights. Don't let me forget the minigolf!!!! At the time we played, they were doing some maintenance on the greens so the lovely lady in the office let us play for free! What fun we had. Do yourself a favour and make sure that if you need a caravan park in Hobart that this is the one you choose.
