Calellu - Calvi

We left Le Comme Shez Soi, which is next to this restaurant, after being left (ignored) for over 15 mins - didn't even take our drinks order.Pleased we did, as we popped into this place instead and had a very nice Menu Corse - the Dorade was very good.Service was nice and relaxed - unhurried but attentive.We had the added bonus of a magician coming to our table and entertaining us for ten minutes.

We kind of stumbled on this in the midst of the many bars and restaurants - but what a find. I had the best steak I have ever had - perfectly cooked, and the service was just right - very friendly and attentive, my partner had the tuna and raved about it - again best ever. I followed up with the local cheese cake which was served with cream, ice cream and a liquor! All in all a great find and really worth a visit - we will be going back although we are only here for 4 nights. Ps thanks for the after dinner drink - much appreciated!

This was one of the best restaurants we ate in during our time in Calvi. Luckily enough we were there for two weeks, so had the opportunity to eat there on three occasions and to sample something different on each visit from the very good menu selection. Service was fantastic, and the very hard working owner and his staff were always attentive and nothing was too much effort even during the busy periods. A very sign that this restaurant care for their customers.

Great service, friendly staff, great food and well presented, great location in clean harbourside area.

Great location sitting outside right on the harbourside. Staff we friendly and helpful. We had the set menu which was very good value, as was the house wine. Food was all well presented and very good apart from the chestnut cake dessert which was dry and a bit boring, maybe just a bad choice as the cheescake was very good.
