Local restaurant with lovely seafood. Great to sit as the sun sets over the sea No need to book but we sat just inside as it was really hot

We visited on a busy Friday night without reservation. Got a seat on the front terrace, in time to enjoy a spectacular sunset. The staff were pleasant and helpful. Food was served quickly, very well prepared and presented. I had scabbard fish fillet with banana with a salad , my husband the house beef and my son the picado . Portions were generous. For dessert we all had the homemade passion-fruit parfait. Very reasonable prices.

Definitely give this family restaurant a go! I had the traditional fish with banana as crazy as is sounds it was delicious and value for money!

Good food and good service! Generous portions as well. We went there during our short stay in Madeira as we were very impressed by the squid and prawns that we had to make a return trip. They also gave us free Madeira wine to try as well. We also had a minor hiccup with someone in our group left the passport in the restaurant after dinner. We realised it 12+am past closing time and we were flying the next morning before the restaurant open. Managed to contact the owner via chat and he came back to the restaurant within 10 minutes to pass us the wallet/passport. We are truly thankful for his quick response else otherwise it would have disrupted our plans badly. Really incredible service and food. Do go support if you are in Madeira!

The meat of the fish was great! Slightly overcooked but tasty! We came during the sunset and the view was lovely!
