Redneck Bistro - Calabogie

Stopped here after a day skiing at Calabogie. We didn’t have a reservation but they were able to seat us. Service was attentive and friendly. The food was quick and delicious. We will definitely stop here again on our next ski trip! Try the Calabogie Hoagie.

Everyone said eat here it's great! So I guess I had high expectations. The Jalapeno poppers were great. The gravy and fries were amazing. Everything else was extremely bland. We barely touched our philly poutine that we ordered for the table to share. And I ordered the Hogie. Which was piled with the same bland steak and pepper/onion mix. No seasoning? Really? The chicken sandwiches were also very bland. Giant servings though if that's what you're into. Service was great. The prices were way too high for the quality of food.

Great little pub with good food and a great selection of beer in a beautiful, rural setting.

The food at this restaurant is too expensive for the quality. The chicken was overcooked and tough, and the bread on the sandwich was stale and crumbled. It used to be a decent place to eat, but I will not be returning.

This is an incredible place, with an incredible group working like mad to serve up some absolutely excellent dishes.Obviously, strongly recommended.
