Calabash Deli Bakery Gourmet Shop

We love this little deli. We want to try the subs next time we go because it looks like that is the most loved food item. We enjoyed the cake and the cookies! The brownie looked good but tasted like dry chocolate cake. We would recommend the cookies or the cheesecake. Service was friendly and prompt!

I haven’t had a complete confirmation of Celiacs yet, but that’s the tentative diagnosis. My Dr. wanted me to go ahead and start with a gluten free diet while waiting on test/procedure results. I had been eating at this place for months prior as a regular and when I had to switch to gluten free the staff was extremely helpful and directed me to foods there that I could eat and even prevented me from ordering things that would be cross-contaminated. I’m just getting started and figuring it all out, so that’s been incredibly helpful and appreciated. They have been wonderful about it all. They changed gloves, completely cleaned workspaces, used a separate gluten-free toaster, etc. I’ve really appreciated their efforts as eating out with coworkers is proving to be a difficult challenge and this place has made it much less stressful.

Consistently the best place to grab a sandwich or deli item in the area. You won't be disappointed if you go to Calabash Deli. They also have cookies and other baked goods also very good. You can't go wrong!

Their food is awesome. Small town restaurant with the big city taste.

I can never say enough good things about The Calabash Deli. I always order the Antipasto Salad because it’s the best I’ve ever had. The staff is amazing and always so helpful. This trip I also added on the New England Clam Chowder and it was amazing. My husband ordered the Bratwurst Sandwich and you can tell from the photos that his sandwich was the best he’s ever eaten. When I phoned our order in I spoke to Jennifer and she’s so precious!! I love all of the staff here and can’t thank them enough. I always make it a point to let them all know how much I appreciate them. I’d recommend anyone to eat here. Great food, reasonable prices. Try them out!
