L'osteria Di Castello - Cagliari

Upper part of Cagliari, terrace is nice but crowded and hot as the sun pierces through the sun protection. Food was good, service slow and bill high, even for Cagliari/Sardinia.

We had lunch twice at this restaurant in the old Castello area on a very pleasant square. Apero, food, wine and service were excellent. Several tuna dishes and pastas are delicious. Very relaxing location to have a meal with friends or family.

We were charmed by this place when we first arrived, because the room is cosy and rustic, but were appalled at the final price! The chef (who served us) clean forgot one of the dishes but tried to charge us for it until challenged. We paid €73 for two bowls of microwaved soup, some hard bread, two small artichoke hearts, a piece of squid (with no accompaniments), 2 desserts and wine. All served on paper plates with plastic cutlery. Disappointing to say the least.

Ero in questo posto in una giornata intensa di novembre. antipasto di polpo fritto, culurgiones prima. entrambi molto bene. prezzi non economici ma giustificati dalla qualità e dalla posizione. raccomandato.

Posizione molto bella con tavoli allestiti nella piazza proprio sotto la cattedrale! ottimo cibo e menu originale! prezzi adatti alla qualità!
