Golden Sun Fish - Caerphilly

I have always enjoyed the food from this restaurant in the past, but tonight's experience was absolutely terrible. The rice was undercooked and the chicken in the curry was raw in the middle. When we called to complain, they asked us to return all of the food in order to receive a refund of only £6.20 from our £55 order. This is completely unacceptable. We will not be ordering from them again.

I walked in to order food without pre-ordering and was surprised at how quickly it was ready. Unfortunately, the food was terrible and clearly not cooked fresh. The chips were overcooked and reheated, the egg fried rice was clumped together and not fresh, and there was very little meat in the chow mein. The whole meal tasted of grease. It was very disappointing, as this Chinese takeaway used to be very good. Now, it is a complete waste of money.

This was the worst dining experience I have ever had. I will never go back again. The food was extremely salty and the customer service was incredibly rude. It was a complete waste of money. One of the worst Chinese meals I have ever eaten.

Been going here for months food has been amazing. Collected a takeaway tonight was awful. Dry king prawns hard pineapple, Beef curry was more like mushroom beef curry, pancake roll consisted of only beansprouts ‘real’ chips were like over cooked frozen ones. I haven’t called to complain as that’s not me but really disappointed with the quality of food tonight.

Food here is absolutely stunning !! So fresh!!! Staff are lovely and friendly. A wide range if different types of dishes. Highly recommended
