Great little place for quick breakfast and lunch. Their chicken rice is ????! Similar to Hainan Chicken rice, but instead of chilli sauce, it is serve with fish sauce & ginger.. even better! The restaurant itself does not look very appealing, in fact it looks dirty and shabby. Service? Not really...... The boss is loud, but friendly.
Breakfast at Dong Son. Some mornings, breakfast is my favourite meal of the day, especially if we eat in Cabramatta. Usually the place is noisy, crowded and colourful. At 7am it's the exact opposite, almost meditative. The pace is slower and you do get a chance notice things you don't when Cabra is busy. Dong Son on Park Road is quickly becoming our favourite breakfast haunt. It's run by Cambodian-Chinese and has been operating for around 20 years. They seem to always be open, early or late. The menu is on the wall in four languages, Khmer, Chinese, Vietnamese and English. The staff speak all four languages too, some more successfully than others! While the menu is extensive, from individual meals through to dishes your order to share with the whole family, for breakfast, we always order the same thing (when you're on a good thing...); Phnom Penh Noodle Soup for me and Fried Beef Noodles for Walter. noodlies.com
My family has been fed in the dong son as long as we can remember. To this day, dong son is one of the oldest and most popular restaurants in cabramatta dong son, serving Cambodian Chinese cuisine, from a la carte dish to family dishes. try their famous duck in the preserved lemon soup, stir the fry darm in fermented cauliflower, deep fry flounder, salt and pfeffer porridge, or simply choose a dish from the menu. The food is delicious. very fast. affordable prices.
One of the oldest restaurants in cabramatta, which is still open until now. I think the place is open more than 20 years. the boss is still working there. I love the famous combination fried noddles, the dish has meat and seafood combined and mixed with the incineration odour of the woks. the stew noodles are not cooked to my expectation, the meats were still hard to chew, it should I cook until it is softer. this restaurant is famous for all brat dishes. so for a safe choice, they simply go for the hangries on the menu. All with suppen depends on pure luck.
