L'Artista Restaurant - Burnaby

We dine at this restaurant every few weeks. The food and service is always excellent. We recently took a few people with us and they were all very impressed.

Went here for dinner and had my test Carbonara dish. It was cooked perfectly. Pasta was well coated and usually not a fan of cream in my Carbonara but I guess it was because no one cooked it right when I had it before. The serving is quite large with pieces of thick bacon. I will definitely be back to try the Vongole next time.

An excellent meal. Started with a fresh clam dish appetizer and followed it up with veal piccata. All four of us really enjoyed our meal and the staff couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. Very enjoyable evening

Both dishes we ordered were really delicious. The lasagna and the shrimp rose pasta. Tiramisu was also one of the best as it wasn’t very sweet. We went there right before closing, so it was not busy at all. The restaurant itself is quite charming and cozy. Service was good but it could be better. Overall I recommend this place as the pasta was one of the best I had in Vancouver.

We recently had dinner here the food was great, as was the service.  Unfortunately we left an envelope with a gift card at the table.  Since we came from out of town the staff was most accommodating in keeping this until we were able to retrieve it. We're looking forward to coming again.
