Contribuiți la feedbackI decided to take out last night and tied Indians. I ordered the Saag Lamb and Naan from this restaurant. The owner was very polite when I picked up my food. This dish was very good and was very tasteful. Meat... tender and sauce not too sharp. I really enjoyed this court.
Hastings is in need of a good Indian restaurant, but unfortunately, this place doesn't fit the bill. The restaurant was empty both when we arrived and when we left, despite offering a few appealing dishes. The curries appeared to be diluted and lacking in flavor, which may be reflected in the pricing. It seems like they could improve the quality of their dishes. The Naan bread also didn't seem quite right, with an excessive amount of char on it. There are better Indian dining options in Burnaby, but none on Hastings Street.
Fantastic food with detailed explanations provided when needed. The dishes are made with fresh ingredients and expertly seasoned for maximum enjoyment. A wonderful dining option in the local neighborhood.
This neighborhood restaurant offers outstanding international cuisine that should not be underestimated. The dishes were delicious, authentic, and made with great care. My wife enjoyed the chicken tikka masala, while I savored the signature lamb dish. It was the perfect way to end a day of sightseeing in Vancouver.
Fairly decent Indian food in Burnaby. Great service. Super friendly and attentive. Treated our group of 7, including two young children, very well. We ordered everything on a medium spice level. Ordered the tandoori chicken and butter chicken: the flavour level on both could be...kicked up a lot higher, but it was good for the children. The Palak Paneer (spinach and paneer cheese) was OK, not my favourite. Also ordered aloo gobi (cauliflower and potato): pretty standard. The lamb curry by far was the crowd favourite, very tender and flavourful. Standard saffron rice and naan was also ordered. Only suggestion would be for large groups, the individuals may come back as individuals or couples or make suggestions to their friends. Make it easier for them to recommend your restaurant by providing free samosas or something tasty as an incentive for them to provide a positive review for your restaurant. Competition is tough out there.
