I ordered my usual favorites: salmon sashimi, spicy tuna roll, rainbow roll, and chicken udon. Despite the late hour, the food arrived quickly and I was able to enjoy my meal without feeling rushed. The salmon sashimi was beautiful and the pieces were large, the spicy tuna roll could have been spicier but was still tasty, and I loved the toppings on the rainbow roll and the scallop shell presentation. The udon was also delicious. Overall, I had no complaints about the food. The total bill came to $37 including tax, which I thought was reasonable for the quality of the meal. I would definitely come back again.
Order Queen's Roll, Unagi Roll and Chicken Karaage. One of the best decisions you'll ever make. The chicken karaage was okay but good portion for the price.
We haven’t been to Kiku for the longest time and the last time we’ve been here was well over 3 years ago! (Previous visits can be read about here and here). It’s not that we had a bad visit the first couple of times or anything but there are literally too many Japanese options in Vancouver that it’s rare for us to frequent one “go-to” spot.
I learnt something new today I did not know this place was here (open my eyes) met up with a couple of customers for lunch. I ordered the volcano roll which was not spicy but very tasty,i would definitely recommend this place. pricing was good, service was good.
The Winter Dynamite Roll is incredibly delicious and flavorful! The only downside is the service, as many of the waitresses do not pay attention to customers and can be rude at times. However, the owner is always present and very friendly!
