Mike's Deli West - Burlington

Mikes is the BEST sub shop/deli in the city, plain and simple. Its a local gem owned and operated by one if the nicest guys you'll ever meet. Mikes has unparalleled service. You'll never be kept waiting and the good is always brought out promptly event during rushes. The sandwich quality puts all others to shame, and the variety of meats, cheeses, vegetables, and breads you can choose from is really quite astounding. All in all this is the best deli in the city, and has consistently won that distinction. A must visit for any sandwich lover!

Excellent option for avoiding a chain. Huge selection of sandwiches. Did charge a service fee when I looked at my receipt later? Prices are a bit high.

This is the ultimate Italian sub/hoagie. You won't find a better one in the area, especially at this price. I also really enjoy the turkey cranberry sandwich. There are so many fantastic options on their menu that are rare to find nearby, like Taylor ham on a hard roll, and they do it exceptionally well. The family deal is a fantastic bargain. If I'm lucky enough to have a special occasion or even my last meal, I would choose the Italian sub with a brownie.

I passed 4 or 5 other sub shops to go here today for the first time. Four family members from three counties each placed their order and I picked up all of them, so we could have a picnic. And every morsel was delicious. The order was ready on time, service was fast even though there was a line to order. We all chose various subs and I couldn’t be happier that we found a new sub joint. I especially liked they verified that I was authorized to pick up the food. Because hearing “someone already picked up your order” is a convenient excuse these days from a sub competitor. And the prices are terrific.
