Saffron Burlingame (formerly Rasa)

Wow! The food is absolutely delicious, and the presentation is fantastic! We had a party of four and ordered four small dishes to share, along with two main courses: butter chicken and curry fish, accompanied by coconut rice and garlic bread. Everything was amazing. My favorites were the appetizers and drinks. Don’t miss out on this place!

This restaurant is fantastic—one of the best Indian spots in the Bay Area! I'm giving it one star less because while the appetizers and drinks are decent, they don't quite stand out. However, the main course is truly exceptional, especially the kofta curry. Each curry has its own unique flavor, and you can tell they don't use the same base for multiple dishes. I will definitely be returning for more!

The restaurant offers a great selection of Indian cuisine with a modern twist. The flavors are delicious, and there's both indoor and outdoor seating available. The staff is efficient and helpful, though they could be a bit more cheerful and welcoming. However, the portion sizes are relatively small, and the prices are on the higher side.

Outstanding dishes. The General tso's cauliflower, corn soup, beet berry salad, dosa, and sliders had rich and vibrant flavors. Very fast and attentive service. Patio seating was pretty, but a little loud as we were seated near some big groups. Will definitely be back.

Well deserving the Michelin star this location once had. Amazing food, great service and a very modern looking restaurant. Everything we tried was just spectacular and I can't wait to go back once I'm I'm SFO. Loved the neighborhood as well, very eclectic
