Fire | Vine bar + grill - Burlingame

I decided to eat at this restaurant because there weren't many other options nearby and I didn't want to drive. Since the other tables were empty, I chose to sit at the bar thinking the service might be quicker. Luis, the bartender, took care of me and was very attentive and friendly. I had a fresh and crisp beer and ordered the chicken wings which were delicious, perfectly cooked and flavorful. I have a sweet tooth so I also tried the cheesecake which was rich and tasty. However, I found the price of $17 for 6 wings to be very expensive, while $9 for a slice of cheesecake seemed reasonable for the portion size. My total bill was a little over $30 but luckily, I had food credit from being a Diamond perks member. Despite the prices, I would consider returning because of the excellent service I received from the bar staff. Note: the restaurant is closed from 10am-5pm between Monday and Friday.

The manager was very pleasant to deal with. The drinks were delicious. The atmosphere is laid back. The food portions are generous and definitely worth it!

Airport Hotel Restaurant so no great expectations. We were surprised. The decor is dated, but the food and wine list is worth trying. Much better than average hotel dinner.

The Philly Cheesesteak was the most interesting thing I've ever had, and I sometimes buy it at airports. Not sure why it would be served on a cheap Hamburg bungalow with one side of Bbq sauce? The fried Calamari was acceptable, but without taste. The grilled jalapeno topping could have been a nice touch, but also no taste there. I get used to city prices, but the alcohol was also expensive by these measures. On the plus side they validated our parking spaces and it is not a bad place to wait for a flight at some point. If you are on a cost account, the bar is a beautiful place, but there are many better places (including the airport) to find food. Otherwise there is no reason to waste your money here.
