It says some Yelp! Folks are saying this places is closed but on 9/2/20 it was open and had a list of daily specials on display . It's got some truck parking so that was good for me (driveway is a little steep but a Frito-Lay truck trailer was parked here when I woke up today) . The food was great ! I got breakfast with scrambled eggs and bacon with grits . It took a little time but well worth it . While I waited I got to listen to the table with the regulars drinking coffee and telling stories , reminded me of when my Dad used to take us kids to The Shamrock in Creston,IA . .

Just letting everyone know that THE HOURS ARE WRONG! They open at 6am every day! They have a breakfast buffet (that we missed because we thought they didn 't open till noon on Saturday). They have buffets for every meal with a salad bar. They also have a Sunday buffet and a full menu if you don 't want the buffet. We ended up ordering off the breakfast menu, which they serve all day! This place is a little off the highway behind the Quality Inn. As for the food, it 's definitely home style Southern cooking, grease included! The food tasted great, just a little more home style than I 've had in years with all the healthy cooking I try to do at home now. The omelette was big with a lot of ingredients inside. The waffle was huge and tasted great as well. I 'd give this place a try if you 're in the mood for a taste of Southern cooking!

This is by far the best mom and pop restaurant. I travel for work, and go to many restaurants and this is one of my favorites. The staff are all so friendly. The food is good as well.

Breakfast all day. Try the pineapple clear. You won't regret it. Simple and straight forward

Nice laid back ma and pops place food is cooked to perfection great friendly staff that don't just refill your drinks but interact with you and make you feel welcome like your more than just a paycheck I see people fussing about the portions but do you really expect a big meal for 6 bucks cmon not in this economy...... and bottles of ketchup are on the table......i highly recommend stopping in if you're in the area the buffet always has some kind of good ol southern style food on it
