Although we did receive a full refund, I suspected that this may not be an isolated incident. Tonight, we decided to order for pickup. We placed our order around 5:20pm for pickup at 6:15pm. My husband went inside the restaurant at 6:10pm as the app indicated that the pizza was ready. However, when he arrived, the order was not ready and had been lost. They had to remake the entire order. Another customer waiting had a similar experience, with her order scheduled for pickup at 5:45pm but leaving about 10 minutes before we did at 6:41pm. No refund was offered, and when my husband inquired about the wait time, he was repeatedly told, "I don’t know, we’re really busy man." Despite not being short-staffed, the service was extremely slow. Additionally, our order was missing a parmesan bread bite, although they did give us a larger pizza instead of the medium we ordered. Overall, it was not a pleasant experience, and we do not plan on returning to this establishment.
My family and I have been ordering from this restaurant reluctantly, as it is the only place that delivers quickly. However, after tonight's experience, I am rethinking this choice. My wife ordered individual medium pizzas for each of us, but we have noticed a decline in quality and service, leading us to tip less generously. Having worked at a Domino's in Indiana, I know that a medium pepperoni and mushroom pizza should never appear dry and lukewarm. The veggie pizza we ordered was undercooked in the center, and my son found his pizza to be lukewarm and difficult to eat. Overall, I would recommend choosing a different pizza chain, as even Little Caesar's offers better quality. The delivery driver's attempt to convince me that the pizzas were still hot by saying "see, it's still hot" was unconvincing to say the least. It seems that the restaurant uses tricks to make customers think their order is still hot, even when it's not up to par.
This caused me a lot of stress as he was rude and careless. He promised to return at 7:20, but I waited until he left the restaurant to contact the manager, Dave, who kindly offered a refund. The delivery guy arrived at my door at 7:30 and had the audacity to ask for a tip, despite my app indicating contactless delivery. He was persistent and refused to leave until I opened the food. Although Dave was helpful, the overall experience was horrible. My partner has also had issues with this restaurant in the past.
Horrible customer service. Wouldn't have minded waiting two and a half hours for our pizza if there was a little heads up. Ordered at 6 and didn't receive the food until after 8:25. Tried calling the branch and was only able to get a recording over and over again. I was never able to get a live person. The driver offered no valid reason or explanation. To top it all off, the pizza was stale. Stay away.
So disappointed. I ordered a medium 2 topping pizza. This is the final product. Ridiculous
